How much does does it cost to fit security film to my vehicle?
The cost varies with different models of vehicle, due to the different shapes of vehicles and various sizes of glass used in today’s cars. For a free instant quotation please Contact Us.
Does the cost depend on which shade of tint I choose for the security film?
Clear security film is cheaper than having a tinted security film applied. There is no difference in cost between the tinted options.
If I have been in an accident and I needed to escape through the window would I be able to if Dynamic security film was fitted?
Yes you can. This is a commonly asked question, Dynamic security film is designed to allow a shattered window to be pushed out from the inside of the vehicle. Please watch the Video to see this happen.
How long would it take you to apply Dynamic Security Film to my vehicle?
We would need your vehicle for a whole day when applying security film. It does take longer than applying tints, this is because the pane of glass is removed as full coverage of the window is needed for maximum security, bonding to the window bracket is also necessary.
Does Dynamic Security film protect against heat, glare and UV’s?
Clear Security Film like tinted will virtually eliminate UV rays which will help to protect occupants as well as the interior of the car. Tinted Security Film is an excellent way to reduce heat and glare affecting children, passengers and pets seated in the rear of the vehicle. Tinted Security Film will also help to reduce heat in the car overall by reflecting solar rays.
Which windows are treated with Dynamic Security film?
Security film is normally applied to all of the side windows in a vehicle. It is not possible to apply it to rear screens due to the curvature of the glass and it is not necessary to apply to the front screen, front screens are laminated and therefore security film is not required. If a tinted security film is fitted to the rear side windows a matching tinted film can be fitted to the rear screen.
